This category has a collection of pre-built CSS files that you can use in your website. This will help you choose a layout that matches you requirement.Īfter selecting the desired layout you can amend the CSS file to customize the look of the page. You can preview each of these layout designs in the Preview box in the rightmost pane of the dialog box. The layout names are self explanatory like ‘Two columns, Left fixed’, ‘Header, nav, 1 column, footer’ and so on. The CSS file has an extension of ‘.css’ and since an HTML page is also created along with it, the HTML page will have its extension as ‘.html’ only.
So the code will be added to both the CSS file and the HTML page. When you choose a particular layout Expression® Web creates a new CSS file as well as a new HTML page, and links that CSS file to the HTML page.
